Homemade “Lara Bars” in two easy steps!
- 20 almonds (raw), soaked in water for 1 hr and drained
- 10 pitted dates
- 10 prunes (dried plums)
Combine all ingredients in food processor. Once ingredients are blended down to a sticky paste, transfer the paste onto clean wax paper. Take small sections of paste and roll into balls. Store in fridge for up to a week.
These are insanely good and have a nice subtle sweetness. There’s no better, more natural energy and they have protein, healthy fat, and good carbs with tons of fiber. We were surprised at how delicious they are!
